In 1992, after finishing his studies at Prague’s film school FAMU, he devoted himself to directing his own films. In 1996 he debuted with ”Whisper”, which won many prizes at international film festivals and became the second most attended film of the year. In 1999 he founded his own production company, Lucky Man Films, which has been producing his films since.
