A director, scriptwriter, critic and teacher. Graduated from Charles University, School of Philosophy and also received a degree from FAMU, documentary film department. His creative interest focuses on considering transversal aspects of reality - science, politics, society and thought. He contributes to various papers and regularly publishes his own articles in the bi-monthly Cinepur and the weekly Literární noviny. For several years he curated film programs for the Roxy and Archa Theatre in Prague, as well as historical retrospectives at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival. He is a co-founder of the FAMU Centre of Audiovisual Studies in Prague.
