Prague, Oslo or Los Angeles: where, really, is my home?
Filmmaker Margareta Hruza, the daughter of two Czechs who emigrated to the west at the time of the Russian invasion of 1968, delivers an emotionally adversarial guidebook to her own family as she examines why it fell apart. Retracing an intimate map of emotional memories – childhood in Norway, studies in the U.S.A., her ‘return’ to Czech Republic – her personal loneliness is intercut with meetings with family members flung about the globe.
